Our organization’s mission is to promote cultural diversity in the American community through a variety of programs that are closely related to Eastern European culture, life and education system. Slavic Home’s facilities offer programs that promote:
- Culture
- Art, sport, social education
- Consulting and support of community members
- International cooperation
- Senior citizen support, etc.
These programs target people of different ages and designed to broaden their cultural awareness:
- Children are encouraged to develop their creativity, improve social skills and confidence.
- Senior Citizens are offered an opportunity to get together and socialize with other members of the Eugene/Springfield and eventually with greater Oregon community, distinguished for its cultural diversity.
- Families and individuals of all ages may learn more about European culture by attending and/or participating in frequently staged theatrical performances, Slavic Festival and other events organized by SLAVIC HOME.
